Christine Seestadt of Northpointe Integrative in Albany, NY

Christine is a co-founder and owner of Northpointe Integrative, located in Albany, NY. She is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 20 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families throughout the Capital Region.

Christine earned her Master’s Degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from The College of Saint Rose in 2007. Early in her career, she developed extensive experience working with individuals affected by addiction and substance use disorders, supporting clients across various stages of recovery. This work led to her designation as a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) and her identification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors.

Clinical Expertise & Therapeutic Approach

Christine is deeply committed to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence. She integrates a wide range of evidence-based therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Insight-Oriented Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. In addition, she has completed advanced training in specialized approaches that require extensive clinical dedication, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Brain Health Coaching.

To further support diverse populations, Christine completed specialized training through the New York Army National Guard and the Center for Deployment Psychology, focusing on the unique mental health needs of Service Members, Veterans, and their families. She is a proud member of the Star Behavioral Health Providers Registry, which connects military personnel and their loved ones with clinicians who understand the complexities of military life.
