Christine is one of the co-founders and owners of Northpointe Integrative, Inc.  She is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who has been providing direct counseling services to children, adolescents, families, adults and couples since 2005. She earned a Master’s Degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from The College of Saint Rose in 2007.  Early in her career she developed expertise in working with individuals struggling with addictions and in the various stages of recovery.  This work resulted in designation as a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) and also supported her desire to identify herself as a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors (NCC).

Christine’s professional development has continued consistently throughout her career and she is able to provide care while using all of the most common evidence based treatment modality’s (i.e. CBT, DBT, Insight-Oriented Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy), but also treatment approaches that require some of the most extensive training and dedication to clinical growth.  These approaches include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Brain Health Coaching. To further her ability to treat various populations, Christine received training through the New York Army National Guard and the Center for Deployment Psychology where she learned about the unique challenges that face our Service Members and Veterans.  She is a proud member of the Star Behavioral Health Provider Registry – which seeks to link military personnel and their families with therapists that understand their ever changing world.

Clients describe Christine as “real,” engaging, friendly, caring, honest and understanding.  They often view her as a teacher as she has a unique way of helping them to understand how life experiences and relationships affect the body and the brain.  She is practical and straightforward in her approach, and she utilizes humor, compassion, and authenticity to ensure clients feels listened to and understood.  She is both non-judgmental and strengths based in her clinical approach. Through working together, Christine helps her clients to increase their self-awareness and empowers them to approach life in a way that enhances their overall health and wellbeing.

Christine’s current work focuses mostly on supporting those who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment challenges, trauma reactions, ADHD, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, perinatal and postpartum challenges, addiction, and stress management.
